Summary: The place was very beautiful and spacious with plenty of rooms and beds for our big group of 25. There was a lovely piano some of us enjoyed, and we had great memories watching movies, cooking in the very well equipped kitchen, eating meals together in the dining area and taking in the amazing views from the deck and hot tub. This trip was full of amazing memories filled with so much joy, laughter, peace and rejuvenation we so badly needed in part of this location. Though we are sad to hear that it may not be under the same ownership and hence may not be booked again in the future we are forever grateful for having been given the opportunity to experience a splendid and serene place with our families.

Summary: Our extended family had a lovely, idyllic extended weekend in the Montana wilderness at the Bull River Lodge. We had plenty of space in the large lodge to sleep several families comfortably and plenty of space inside and out to enjoy each other's company or to sneak away for a bit of peaceful alone time in the beautiful Montana river valley landscape. We also enjoyed the professional kitchen with all of its amenities to cook delicious meals to share together! Located right on the Bull River we were able to enjoy some many activities- fishing, kayaking, swimming- and then ending the day in the hot tub! Also, conveniently located within short driving distance to Ross Creek Cedars Trail and Bull Lake. We had a blast exploring, playing and just reconnecting as a family at Bull River Lodge!

Summary: My family and I (group of 14 in total) stayed over Christmas and I believe the winter experience is much different than other seasons. We very much enjoyed our stay. There is plenty of space for large groups and the number of bathrooms is a bonus. The kitchen is amazing and very well equipped. The property was very clean upon check in and communication with the host was great. Overall, highly recommended.

Summary: Overall the 13 of us (ages 17-64) had a terrific time at this house. Plenty of space for everyone. We were a little disappointed that there were only 2 canoes available because the listing promised more options. Also we asked for a few incidentals from the host (volleyballs, kitchen towels etc) that never showed up. But don’t let that stop you from visiting. The lodge is otherwise fully stocked, the hiking close by is incredible. We had an awesome time!!

Summary: My entire family stayed here as part of our annual family vacation. From beginning to end, our stay was absolutely perfect. We were wowed when we walked into the lodge. It was large, beautiful, and incredibly picturesque. The views from every window are breathtaking. We used the canoes multiple times during our stay to canoe down the Bull River. Our hosts were accommodating and welcoming. The kitchen is insanely awesome. My husband said “I just don’t think I can go back to a non-commercial kitchen” when we left. Plenty of seating, wonderful bedrooms, just really pleased with our entire stay. We absolutely loved it here.

Summary: This is our second time here. Weather and unusually high river conditions pushed us towards different events, and still didn't get to everything family wanted to do. House and big kitchen supported a lot of great meals and hanging around.
