Summary: Maine is our favorite place to be. This property was great. Tons of shade, a beautiful lake, dock, fire pit.. we had a blast. Even swam in a rainstorm and it was beautiful!! We visited Eastport and fell in love with a small little fishing town. Jasper beach was BEAUTIFUL even in the fog, such a special place. A week of serenity and relaxation, Thank you Katie for offering your property to guests!!

Summary: The guys went fishing several times a day. The girls went canoeing and for several walks. We also played a lot of pool. We enjoyed Helens Restaurant in Machias and the Crows Nest is definitely worth stopping by. Katie was available whenever I had a question.

Summary: Our stay was great. The home is off the beaten path which we loved. Direct access to the lake with private dock. Canoes and kayaks for everyone. Very clean and affordable.

Summary: As advertised; nice quiet relaxing getaway, lake and loons were wonderful. Suggest increase lighting (lamps) in rooms for reading in living room and bedrooms. Also, cafe table and chairs would be helpful in kitchen area. Would definitely return. Cell phone reception was limited.

Summary: Absolutely loved the view from inside, and even better from the deck or dock. Very nice canoes and kayaks available for use. Fishing supplies are downstairs, and there's enough to catch supper. TVs are everywhere, if your trapped inside. Bring your own coffee and essentials, or you'll be driving back to town. Fished all over the house's end of the lake. Caught the biggest and most bass, fishing the grass line straight out from the dock.
