Ruby Creek Chalet isa beautiful home, located in Southwest Montana on 2.5 acres. A great spot for fishermen, as the property is only minutes from the popular and well known Ruby River and about an hour from the Madison, Big Hole and Beaverhead rivers. Bring your four wheelers, side by sides & snowmobiles because there are loads of trails nearby the property.

The estate has a lovely main home and a smaller sleeping cabin. The sleeping cabin is available for an additional fee. The property is nestled in the Gravelly Mountains East of the Ruby Reservoir. This well maintained newer 3 level well home is perfect for a family gathering or reunion or a group of folks looking for privacy and charm, in the heart of the great outdoors. The fully stocked kitchen has a breakfast bar, quality appliances, hickory cabinetry, and granite countertops. Dining room seats 8 comfortably. The main house has 3 bedrooms sleeping 2 to 8 people. There are 2 full bathrooms, one on the main floor, and one in the loft that has a spa tub. The closest small town is Alder, about 8 miles to the north. Other larger towns nearby include Butte, Bozeman and Helena. Most folks fly into Bozeman’s Yellowstone International Airport which is 75 miles away. The area around the chalet is known for its great fishing and hunting.

Summary: This property is very secluded and was just what we wanted. It is so peaceful sitting out at night and hearing nothing. The house was great and handled all 7 of us just fine. As with most things in Montana the only downfall to this property is it is far away from everything. Yellowstone is a 2 hour drive, Bozeman and Big sky are about 2 hours away. We knew this going into it so it was no big deal for us. Very close to Virginia city and Nevada city. Ruby Lake is right across the road and was very relaxing and queit.

Summary: The property was and is amazing. A view of the Ruby, plenty of space for bike riding, yard, deck for BBQ, secluded, yet close enough to what we wanted. The home is tastefully done, windows are wonderful. Balcony off the master upstairs was fantastic. Ample parking. Well stocked kitchen and bath. Overall outstanding for our family and group.

Summary: We had a great time! Cabin was beautiful, close access to the reservoir. We enjoyed fishing, Virginia and Nevada City, and hanging out on the property. Very easy check in process!!!!

Summary: There were just a few minor issues with things. Could use more space for guest items in kitchen bathrooms, and bedrooms. But we had a great vacation and time spent with family! Loved seeing hearing the wildlife!

Summary: Big skies, long vistas, mining history in Virginia and Nevada Cities, good fishing on Ruby Creek and plenty of scenic drives into high country. A pair of bald eagles with two chicks were nesting in a cottonwood nearby. The house itself was perfect for a family get-together of six adults, one two-year-old and a dog. Would love to come again.

Summary: We had a wonderful trip to this cabin and to Alder MT. The cabin is a bit off the beaten path but was amazing and we enjoyed the quiet. Only thing to note is that the location was difficult to find using google maps. I might recommend providing a bit more clear directions from the last paved road to the property. We would definitely return and was perfect for the whole family including young child and pup! We loved being so close to the reservoir! I recommend checking out some of the hiking trails near Sheridan.
