Far from the crowds and Condos... Far from the noise and tourist traps... There is the old Hawaii of HANA, a small community overlooking beautiful Hana Bay on the windward east end of Maui. Hana is cooled by the trade winds that blow across the Pacific and nourish us with evening showers that make this part of Maui lush and tropical.
As you travel the magical 'road to Hana' you leave the real world behind and slowly enter the land of old Hawaii, with waterfalls, majestic coastal views and jungle rain forests. By the time you arrive in Hana you will sense a slight change. You will feel a slower pace, more peaceful and quiet.
Hale Moana is a beautiful newer 2 bedroom 2 bathroom home. It is situated on 2 acres of tropical flowers, foliage and fruit trees. The home features a full kitchen with granite counters, gas stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, Cable TV, Wireless internet, a large master bath with a walk in tile shower and separate soaking tub. Both bedrooms have a king size bed. There is a large lanai where you can enjoy the cool breeze, have an outdoor meal or simple relax and read a book.
We are located just 3 miles before the actual town of Hana, and a short drive to Waianapanapa State Park. Hale Moana is located in a safe, quite neighborhood and a short dive (7-15 min) to town and many popular attractions.
The home is perfect for couples or small families ( 4 people max). We do not allow group gatherings, parties, or animals. It is a quiet residential neighborhood and we are very respectful of our neighbors. We do have an onsite manager who is available should you have any questions or problems.

Summary: we enjoyed it - except for the mosquitos outside (preventing us using the chairs etc on the deck). and NO air cond. , so it was very warm inside -- although the fans helped. Nice to have the TV, and BIG kitchen. nice beds, and bathrooms. I would stay there again --

Summary: We stayed four nights at Hale Moana--my husband and myself, and my sister and brother-in-law. We loved it! The home was spacious and very comfortable, with bedrooms (both with king-sized beds) on either side of the house and a large living room and dining room in the center. The kitchen was also roomy and well stocked. The owner provided ample bath and beach towels, boogie boards and beach chairs. Good cross-ventilation and a house-width lanai meant we never had to turn on the A/C. The manager was quick to answer questions. We would happily stay here again!

Summary: Great spot for enjoying in and around Hana. Beautiful and spacious with great scenery. We even shot some family pictures there. Quiet and peaceful - great spot to relax.

Summary: This house was perfect and was a beautiful setting!! House was clean and had plenty of room for two couples. It was kept clean every week. Manager was very friendly and help us out if needed. We would not hesitate to stay here again and will tell others about it!!

Summary: Beautiful view, great front deck for breakfast! Appreciated the Kona coffee provided. Could use a few more mugs as we are all coffee drinkers! Nice to have beach towels, chairs and boogie boards. The master bath was roomy and beautiful. Price was very reasonable. Thank you for the wonderful stay
