Beautiful home in the middle of the water sports area of Friesland.
Enjoy together with family and / or friends in this house in Scharsterbrug, 2 km from Joure. Located directly on open water between the Tjeukemeer and Langweerderwielen. A lot is possible in the surroundings of Scharsterbrug, such as an 18-hole golf course in Legemeer, hiking in the Vegelin forests, subtropical swimming pool Swimfun Joure. Cycling past authentic villages such as Joure, Langweer, Balk & Terherne. Sloop / sailboat rental in Langweer.
The space
A very spacious home (900 cubic meters) for 4 to 10 people with 6 spacious bedrooms. The house stands on a spacious plot (1000 m2) with a covered lounge hut where you can enjoy the last sun in the afternoon and evening. The house and garden have sun all day long. There is also the possibility to swim. Fixed swimming ladder is present.
With bad weather, there are plenty of options to entertain you in the house, a wide selection of board games and a table tennis table in the garage.
There is an opportunity to moor your boat next to the house.

Summary: Very nice house, very well eqipped, with so much room for relaxing, enjoying the weather and every possible freetime activity. The owners provide so much equipment for indoor and outdoor games/activities. The communication with Suzan and Martin is exceptionel friendly. The Checkin and -out was very easy. I enjoyed the welcome received from Martin and the given tour through the house. If we decide to make another trip to this region, we will definetly book again. Thank you Suzan and Martin!

Summary: A large well furnished and beautiful house which is well situated for exploring Friesland. Well stocked with plenty of utensils, crockery and pans etc. Sitting right on the side of the canal the passing boats provide an ever changing view. Our only regret is that we only booked for 7 nights and not for 14.

Summary: This is a beautiful property!! Even the boats that went by on the canal commented on its beauty. The hosts were great and helpful. The beds were very comfortable in all the rooms. Very spacious. Awesome place to stay for a large group. And the little outdoor covered sitting area was an excellent surprise for us. Thanks Martin and Susan.
