Summary: Many problems. I give 2 stars instead of 1 because host was nice and fairly responsive. Property is an apartment in a basement. Bc of that it is very humid and stuffy, no airflow. Place was not clean, floors hadn’t been cleaned at all which was particularly upsetting because we had a crawling baby. shower honestly was disgusting, moldy. The host never sent check in instructions, we had to ask on the day of. the instructions weren’t clear like which door to use for ex. One of the bathrooms had no water in the sink, I messaged the host and they told me to turn it on under sink. once it was on the faucet was leaking the entire stay. One bedroom has no nightstand. When the upstairs turns on their water like I guess to shower the furnace which is down in the rental is THUNDERING, so loud you can’t hear someone talk. This happened a couple times every night!! Both bathrooms were almost out of TP when we got there. I told the host and later he brought some more but it was just an annoyance that the place wasn’t ready. Lastly the biggest issue was that one night Water was coming up thru the ground into the bedroom floor. I had leather sandals and a pillow on the floor and they were soaking wet in the morning and water was squishing out of the floorboards. I know water in basements in an issue on the east coast (we are not from here) but I would hope it would be taken care of if you are going to have people living in a basement. Summary: Very accommodating and has kitchen appliances lik Keurig machine nd air fryer, toaster, If I knew beforehand, I would’ve brought groceries so I’m including this in my review for the next person that stays. Renter is very welcoming. Quiet area with convenient store just a block away Will most definitely return!!

Summary: This is my second year on my annual trip to CT staying at this property and I plan on making it my "home away from home" for every visit to Wtby. if it's available. I love this cute and intimate apartment. I have the ability to let family/friends stay with me in their own room while I visit, I can have family/friends visit me with no problem, and I LOVE the patio. The patio has just the perfect amount of privacy and it makes you feel so relaxed with the color scheme. The customer service Marcus gives is also exceptional! It was hotter this year when I visited so I asked about getting another fan. He literally gave us another fan the same day. I will be back...

Summary: No real designated parking, had to wait for a visitor of the owner to leave most times. The front door does not secure shut. Half the outlets in living room dont work. The furnace room has a water leak that soaked one of my children luggage and didn't look like the bedding was washed as we found hair,on the pillows and all over the sheets underneath

Summary: I initially need the space for a gathering, but ended up just having a family night and the apartment was immaculate! The host was very communicable, and made sure we had everything. The space was clean, the bathrooms were top notch, and everything was labeled to perfection. I would definitely book this property again! It’s literally a gem in Waterbury!
