1 Bedroom Cabin in Henry, Rocky Mount

Former Governor of Virginias 33 Acre property with a beautiful pond with a 1700s Log Cabin. You will be completely surrounded by a mountain and a spring fed pond in a cove in the middle. Lots of wildlife and birds to watch and listen. There’s a pavilion with a Dutch oven and fireplace. Have a birthday or if you want to invite Family over for a get together. Bring a band if you like. Comes with an outside propane grill. There is 2 bathrooms next to cabin and 1 bathroom has a shower. Walking trails, 4 fresh water springs. Spring fed pond . Bring your fishing poles and kayaks. Swim at your own risk. Our kids love swimming in it :). There’s an old spring house and other structures built in 50s to the 70s to check out. Pets are welcome also. When I found this place I had to share with people looking for a place you will never forget. There’s so much history here . Take a shower from a spring fed mountain water. I have a large collection of records to listen to. Also the old tv with vhs tapes to show the kids how we did it before electronics. Has a/c , fridge , microwave and a coffee maker. I provide the coffee and creamer and sugar. We are 30 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, about 40 minutes to Roanoke. 20 minutes from the Martinsville Speedway. Come stay at the Moonshine capital of the world. You won’t regret it. It’s a place to either have peace and quiet or make some noise and dance.
