Central location to many east Texas venues!!!This peaceful three bedroom two bath home located just an hour from Dallas is a great place for a girls weekend or a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Enjoy the relaxing country atmosphere on one of two patios, out front watch the chickens free range around property and out back enjoy extra privacy with wooded views. This home sits at the front of our personal property and is fully equipped with all you will need during your stay. A wonderful place to stargaze and simply relax. Enjoy the artesian water straight from the faucets. Have ample parking for your boat if you’re planning a weekend at one of the nearby lakes. Cedar Creek Reservoir is just a 20 mile drive. We are a 15 mile drive to First Monday Trade Days in Canton, TX. After all the weekend shopping you can visit one of the conveniently located winery’s nearby. Cannon Creek Vineyards is just 14 miles down the road and White Fox Vineyards is 12 miles. If you bring the kids along with you, stop by Rocky Ridge Safari which is a 5 minute drive away. Summary: I have been coming to the Canton area for several years and this was the best place I have stayed. Host was warm and welcoming the bed were comfortable. This place was just peace on earth. I would recommend this place to everyone. Thank you for a great time. P.S. We loved the dogs and chickens.

Summary: Our stay was wonderful! The quiet country getaway was everything we expected, and more! Tall pine and oak shade trees surround the home, providing a serene setting to enjoy the outdoors. Across the driveway is Pork chop the pig and chicken coop, giving the place a real farm feeling. Sandy, the hostess lives nearby and cares for the property, along with her husband and two very effectionate Great Pyrenees dogs. So, if you’re looking for a peaceful place in the country, this is it, as you won’t be disappointed!

Summary: Due to a weather event, our first night was regrettably cancelled. However, Sandy was easy to work with and we were happy to stay our second night. Everything you could need was available at the property. It was a wonderful stay and hope to come back to stay again. It was the best!!! 💕

Summary: It was only an over night stay but Sandy is so sweet and accommodating and we enjoyed our visit. The house was clean and had everything that we needed - we loved the Great Pyrenees dogs they have, so sweet and the chickens and over-all country setting. We would stay here again!

Summary: This is a great place to stay. Very nice and roomy, wonderful country surroundings with chickens too. The host had fresh eggs which we really enjoyed. She is very easy to talk to and the place was so clean and nicely decorated. Would highly recommend it.
