Summary: Overall, this was a wonderful place to come home to rest our heads and have family dinners. The location was perfect, a little out of Tahoe City and yet backing up to Page Meadows, which were lovely. And, access to the private beach was magical. The house was everything we needed, and Rich was incredibly hospitable!

Summary: What a pleasure it is to write about our recent stay at the beautiful Wilson House in Lake Tahoe. Our party of nine, there to celebrate a special birthday, was so grateful for the many amenities, beauty, and comfort of the house - spacious bedrooms (everyone commented on the comfortable beds), inviting seating and living arrangements, fully functional kitchen and laundry room. The house was very clean and welcoming. Match all of this to the extraordinary beauty of the tall, fragrant pines that surround the house, and you will be gifted with a memory you will return to again and again.

Summary: pros: lots of room and cozy fireplace with a ton of firewood close to hiking trails and great for our family and pup cons: listing said it had a hot tub but it seems to have been removed. The kids brought suits and were disappointed. Not a big deal but might have chose a different place had we known overall would come back

Summary: We were in Tahoe for a wedding over Labor Day Weekend, a group of 9 of us (singles, couples, and married folk!). Even with the fires in South Lake Tahoe, Rich was very communicative, giving up dates on air quality and smoke visibility before we arrived (we were nervous about the fires). He made checking in and out very easy and painless. I am someone who likes loads of information, the keys came with a little run down of the house and surrounding area which I practically slept with. The house was gorgeous, plenty of room for all of us! We were able to get in to town, the lake, near by hikes, etc very easily! I would 100% return and recommend this property to anyone that asks!

Summary: Love the space and he was absolutely correct with being a fully equipment kitchen where many that say that are NOT. Thank you again for accommodating our 3 family dogs. Would stay again. Recommend: Scissors for kitchen, bigger beds to sleep two comfortably and two more couches for living room. Not very comfortable for big group to enjoy movie. Otherwise, very nice stay, and close to a lot of things!

Summary: Couldn't have been happier with this place for our family vacation. Even though the smoke from distant fires put a little kink in some of our plans, it still all worked out. Host Rich was fantastic to work with! He was super helpful as we had to modify our stay. House had everything we needed, nice set up for group hangouts, and the beach access is awesome with lake, volleyball, basketball, and more. Only recommendation would be for some additional fans to circulate the air, especially since we couldn't keep the windows open due to the smoke. Can't wait to go back!
