This A-frame on beautiful Big Chippewa Lake is a 3600 sq. ft. home built in 1987 and expanded in 2002. The lake is a very clean spring-fed lake that is excellent for fishing. The sandy beach is perfect for family swimming. The grounds are gorgeous and well maintained. Kayak for two and paddle boat are furnished. There is a dock, feel free to bring your own boat. Pontoon or boat rental is available on the lake.
The main level offers a formal living room with comfortable furniture, an open concept kitchen, dining room and living room with a gas fireplace. There are two bedrooms, large bathroom, a laundry room, and gorgeous four-season porch and a walk-out deck facing west on the lake - perfect for watching summer sunsets. The upper level, the master suite, has a large bedroom with a king-sized bed, and a full bathroom. The walk-out level offers a family room featuring a wet bar, a television , a futon and a large bathroom, and large patio. It also has an additional bedroom.
The home sleeps 11 in two king beds, one queen bed, two single beds, a trundle bed that makes into a king sized bed), and a futon. The house contains satellite television (Dish), Blu ray DVD payers, high-speed internet, books and games.

Summary: Because unfortunately we don’t own it. One week isn’t long enough but we certainly had a great time while we were there. It’s not our first time and won’t be our last. Just a great place in all respects. Large modern home, large yard, large dock, great swimming, wonderful fire pit, lots of toys provided, nice grill, etc. Mark is a great host! So what are the cons? Can’t think of any.

Summary: This was our second year at this property and hopefully not the last. The sunsets are always beautiful, the beach and swimming in front of the property are perfect for young and old alike. The house has many areas for shared or solo activities. The owners are always quick to answer questions. I can't say enough about this property!
