Positive: We liked the ease of getting to the tube and train stations. This definitely made it much noisier though. The kitchen was very large with plenty of cooking tools and dishes. The apartment was decorated beautifully and the furnishings would have suited a larger group easily. There were hair dryers in each room. The opportunity to stay in a neighborhood was also a positive experience. I would recommend this property for a family or group of friends that has no limiting needs of mobility.

Negative: There was no indication that his property is on the third and fourth floors. This presented a significant issue as I was traveling with my 76 year old mother and many flights of stairs was challenging. If you are not accustomed to city noise, the street outside was very noisy with frequent emergency vehicle sirens at all hours.

Positive: The flat was perfect for our group size of 5 adults. It is difficult to find a 3 bedroom flat in London for a reasonable price but this one was a great value! The kitchen, living room & dining were perfect for us all to have our own space and also room to gather and visit. The bedrooms were sufficient as well. We enjoyed all the room the flat gave us. I always look for vacation rentals close to tube stops and being close to Swiss Cottage stop was perfect. We were able to get anywhere we needed easily & quickly. We were also close to South Hampstead overground as well.

Negative: Anything negative I could say is not a deal breaker. When we arrived a very loud alarm was going off. The owner said to leave the phone off the hook but that did not work. The kind neighbor came over to help us and we jus disabled the alarm ourselves. No one ever came to look at it or to follow up about this issue. The tub shower combo is a little awkward but the shower head is attached unlike other reviewers comments. The neighborhood is a little dirty, but again, finding an affordable flat is difficult in London so that was not unexpected.

Positive: The cottage was easy to locate and very close to the subway. It was comfortable and clean . Overall we enjoyed our time there. If not for the heatwave it would have scored a 10.

Negative: We went during a heatwave so this was probably atypical. We would have appreciated sheets as it was too hot to sleep with the duvets. It was also right on a main road with traffic driving by all night so we were unable to open windows to let cooler air in without hearing loud traffic.

Positive: The check in and collection of the keys was easy.The room was clean. The metro is just 2 minutes away.A lot of restaurants and grocery shops.

Positive: Easy access to Swiss Cottage Tube station. Just a short walk across the road. So great quick access to the middle of the city. Lots of great little restaurants and supermarkets are also very close by.

Negative: The only worries that we had were maybe a little bit of maintenance on the shower head. We had to hold onto it to shower. The bannister rails on the stairs are loose and a bit rickety, so a bit unsafe. Otherwise, everything else was awesome.
