Pinocasa is a well appointed 2 bedroom apartment, consisting of 1 bedroom with king-size bed and bedroom 2 comprises of 2 3ft single beds. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, drawer units, electric fans, rugs and subdued lighting, travel cot with bedding & high chair. Bathroom comprises of bath, shower & WC, with good quality bathroom fittings & towelling bathrobes. Lounge area consists of leather corner seating, dining room table & chairs, TV/DVD/CD/Radio with satellite TV. Kitchen has oven & hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron/ironing board, with all the usual kitchen accessories, fire blanket, first aid kit, children’s safety gate for kitchen, children’s eating and drinking accessories. The outside balcony has a small table and chairs, with gates to keep little people safe. The roof solarium has a table & chairs with parasol, sunbeds, barbecue, shower & beautiful panoramic sea and mountain views, outside lighting

Firstly the apartment is great. When we arrived we were met by a lovely couple who showed us around and told us where the best restaurants were. The apartment is a home away from home with the comfort of a dishwasher, a washing m/c and a large BBQ. These items are invaluable when spending two weeks on a beach! Trust me! The apartment is new and very well decorated and equipped. There is a massive roof top area where we had a number of BBQ’s and dinners. There are great views of the sea and mountains from it too. Most nights we watched the sun go down while sipping wine bought from the local super market. An excellent location for those who like to relax. The beach is only 4 mins walk away and is not over run. There is plenty to do for those who like water sports and if you simply like to sit on the beach you have a choice of sandy or stony beaches. I would get the extra .5 when the pool is open, but don't worry there is an ocean only 7 minutes walk away, but you are letting from a FIVE STAR COUPLE and thats True********'

Summary: This is a lovely, well equipped apartment in a fantastic location. Everything you could possibly need for a relaxing, independent holiday is available within the apartment and the resort of La Azohia itself is delightful. We had a couple of issues during our holiday and both were resolved quickly by Helen - in fact she was fantastic. We seldom visit the same area of Spain twice but would certainly consider it in this case.

Summary: Our second stay in this apartment. It's a very well looked after and well equipped apartment just a short walk from the beach and restaurants of La Azohia (make sure you find the short cut footpath from the car park). The weather was amazing and we made good use of the fantastic roof terrace with it's shaded area. La Azohia is a typically Spanish resort and is quiet outside July and August although busier at the weekends. A car would be recommended to explore the area and allow access to large supermarkets, although the Spar in La Azohia can provide most things at a competitive price. We will definitely visit again and I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment, its owner June and Helen the local contact who are both extremely helpful.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. The facilities were perfect. The solarium was brilliant with wonderful views. The beach is a an 8 minute walk. We liked it so much we are buying one.

Summary: The apartment was exactly as described and June was a very responsive and helpful host. It is easy walking distance to and from the beach and there is a nearby local shop for essential supplies. The roof terrace is a fabulous space and we were disappointed not to be able to use the BBQ due to high winds in the evenings. The resort itself is very quiet and I would definitely recommend a car if you are staying more than a few days.

Summary: It was a delight to stay in an area where the first language is Spanish. The main tourists are Spanish and mid week was much quieter than the weekends. The local beaches were really nice and lots more beautiful beaches to try out, The apartment was very comfortable and had all the niceties we could wish for. The roof top balcony was huge and you could always find shade. The only thing we didn’t manage to do was get out and do some walking, but it was much too hot. We will just have to go back!! Highly recommend. Thank you June.

Summary: As always with all our stays abroad, we do a lot of research and this property certainly lived up to everything and more.The apparment was very clean and very comfortable. It also served for us an excellent base where we could explore the region of Murcia from. The owner, June, was excellent and very prompt with her email replies to all my questions.Helen, the lady that looks after the apartment, came and visited us to make sure we where comfortable and that all was OK. We had a 2hr chat with her and she was a font of knowledge about the area and information about buying abroad. Summary: We spent a week in October at PinaCasa without a car (three adults). We were looking for a week of total relaxation in the sunshine away from the high rise resorts, comfortable accommodation with a pool but near to the beach - this is exactly what we found. The apartment had everything we needed, it was clean with very comfortable beds. There was coffee, tea, sugar, condiments etc. and a fresh bottle of milk on arrival. Helen popped in twice during the week and is full of information which was very helpful.The roof terrace provided many hours of constant sunshine, amazing sunsets and several bbqs. There is a canopy on the roof terrace if the sun gets too hot. There is air-conditioning in the apartment and also bedroom ceiling fans so this apartment really does have it all. The swimming pool is shared with a few other apartments - we had the pool to ourselves for our morning and late afternoon swim.The beach is a short walk, it is sandy, shallow and gently sloping into the sea which is ideal for children. The sea is transparent and warm with brightly coloured fish swimming around, great for snorkelling. There are a couple of beach bars serving pizza, snacks and drinks until late. There are plenty of restaurants along the promenade, we would recommend Restaurante Piscis Terrazas. We spent a lovely evening watching the sun go down and eating fresh sea bass. For local supplies there is a Spar shop not too far away. It is very well stocked with fresh bread and cakes, a great deli counter and opens until late in the evening. There are 2 large supermarkets in Mazarron, the taxi fare will set you back 40 euros return trip. The Sunday market in Mazarron is very busy but worth a visit if you like to shop. The promenade in La Azohia takes you left to the church, fort and tiny fishing port but if you follow the promenade to the right it will take you into Isla Plana. This took us about 45 minutes and is a very pleasant walk.We wanted a relaxing week in the sunshine and PinaCasa certainly delivered, so much so, we are considering returning in the future for a longer stay and with a car so that we can explore the area further.
