Positive: Overall it was a nice clean place and we will be staying again in the future. Fantastic shower! Nice and quiet at night which is why we booked, to avoid pub/hotel rooms in the centre of Lancaster. Friendly owner. Fantastic communications after booking. We will return.

Negative: I wasn't going to say this as it didn't spoil our trip. But my only two things which could be improved for next time. 1- The bed (mattress) appeared in need of an upgrade, it was saggy on both sides, at the ends... BUT it wasn't uncomfortable we did sleep on it ok. It just felt uneven. 2- The conditioner (there was shampoo conditioner and body gel unit in the shower) was empty.

Positive: The property was well maintained, well equipped and very clean. It was a close walk to the centre of lancaster with a nice walk by the canal en route. The owners kept in contact and although we did not need to contact them with any issues, we felt comforted that we could easily get in touch should we need to.

Positive: We arrived late after a long drive. The property was warm, spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. There was milk in the fridge and teabags etc for making a hot drink. The directions were clear and it was reassuring to know that the key was accessible at any hour.

Positive: It is a beautiful property. It was close to the town centre. It has a lovely garden. The owners left some sweets, biscuits. Milk and orange juice, which were really nice gestures and made it feel welcoming.
