Positive: Bears Den was a great homebase to explore the Seward area. It is cozy and well kept by attentive landlords. We enjoyed our stay very much. it is located right next to everything you need, including a local grocery store, numerous restaurants, the Sea Life Center, and cafés. The kitchen is well equipped. I would recommend Bear's Den to family and friends traveling to Seward, Alaska.

Negative: The only thing missing was laundry facilities. This would have been a big help.

Summary: Cozy, well kept, and centrally located for a pleasant state in Seward, Alaska.

Positive: We liked that this was really close to the cruise departure location. Quiet. Clean. Comfortable. Cookies upon arrival.

Negative: Although not out of line with the prices of competitors in the area, the unit seemed somewhat expensive.

Summary: A nice place to stay after a long day being on a cruise. Overall, we would give it a "A-".

Positive: Very comfortable and charming accommodation with the ‘Bear’ theme throughout. Everything you need for a stay was provided and great location for trains, boat trips from marina and Safeway only a short walk away. Our host Shari went over and above with her hospitality.
