Summary: What an amazing find! This is a lovely old pub with character. Our room was terrific with a really comfy bed, great shower and tea/coffee making facility. Even the hand wash and lotion smelled amazing! The food is a little pricey but you certainly get what you pay for where taste is concerned. We'd totally recommend the beef and ale pie which was the best we'd ever had. The pub is about 10 minutes from Parkway park and ride which is great for avoiding congestion charge and city centre parking. All in all, we had a fabulous weekend and would highly recommend this pub.

Summary: Very nice breakfast. A few age-related areas of wear and tear in the room (mould, cracks etc) but to be expected of an old property. Dinner menu was excellent.

Summary: We were made very welcome from the moment we arrived. Shown to our room, which was very nice and cosy. We had dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed a drink to go with it. Overall a very enjoyable overnight stay. I would recommend that if you are looking for a place to stay then you should try here.
