Positive: A lovely little cottage, really nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable and everything you need was provided. The location was perfect for visiting the local coast of Scarborough and surrounding areas. There is a fantastic Fish & Chip shop only 2 mins walk away, well worth a visit. Good communication throughout from the owners, which is always handy if needed. A really lovely stay and would highly recommend.

Negative: Just to note there is no local convenience store or supermarket in Snainton itself, which wasn't really a problem for us as we were out and about so just picked up what we needed from elsewhere, but just something to be aware of to bring any essentials you might need with you.

Positive: Nice layout, and modern fittings. Kitchen was well equipped. Main bed was firm but comfortable.

Negative: Parking was tricky, it’s not easy to turn around in the area and several times there were cars parked in my assigned space which left no room for me to park and nowhere to turn around. The neighbors are renovating so there were several work vans in the way of parking several days that I was there. The property is right on the road and even with all the windows closed the noise from passing traffic was enough to wake me up.

Summary: Nice modern property in a handy location to Scarborough, Pickering etc. But parking and road noise was a challenge.

Positive: Great countryside cottage. Clean rustic and modern. Informative obliging owners. Nice touch of bottle Prosecco chocolates and Christmas card along with milk biscuits. Would stay again.

Negative: £20 per dog per stay charge (reasonable) but should be clearer and included in price. Mould in front bedroom around window property is old but when paying £600 for 3 nights you don’t expect that. Also kitchen window did not lock - reported both to owner.

Positive: - Parking - Decorated beautifully - Location isn't too far from local attractions - Quiet even though next to a main road - Not a bad price for the quality of the accommodation - Really comfortable beds

Negative: - The little outside light didn't work and it was very dark when we got there - Even using the shower with care, it was hard to not get the floor wet. A shower curtain could be hung on the rail and stop this. - JustEat didn't deliver as we were too far away from anywhere.

Positive: That everything was there for us to use so we didn't have pack everything like washing up liquid, soap etc. Communication was spot on, got all information before our arrival we needed, thing to do pack left for us to look at and our departure information was very clear. House was very clean, comfortable and would definitely return. Lovely touch with the biscuits and sweets.

Negative: The parking space for the house was a little hard to find in the courtyard.

Positive: The cottage was bright and cosy. Kitchen was well equipped and great for a family meal. Rooms were a good size and beds were cosy and comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate and the shower fantastic. The communication from Louise and Rich was excellent, we felt very well informed and the check in and check out was fully stress free. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back.
