Positive: Cottage was great perfect for our needs! Cleanliness, location, facilities all perfect!
Negative: Nothing really we didn’t like. If I was going to be really picky and it may only apply to our party is that my dad is in his late 70s and has dementia. He really struggles with visual perception and different floor levels(steps) are a bit of a challenge! To avoid this he slept in a room that only had the bath which he couldn’t use! But dad really enjoyed himself!!
Summary: Great cottage perfect for long or short stays!!

Positive: The property was more spacious than I expected. It was very well equipped and really comfortable. The outside patio was a lovely space to sit and the field was good for the boys to play. The location was perfect to explore that part of the coast and meet with family.
Negative: That we could not stay longer!!
Summary: Excellent place to stay

Positive: The thoughtful layout and decoration of all the rooms. The quality and comfort of the furniture and beds. A great fully equipped kitchen. Everything spotlessly clean. A park/play area which the granddaughter loved and the really friendly and helpful owner. In short a gem of a place in a lovely location. We hope to stay again soon. Thank you

Positive: Amazing property. Very clean and had everything we needed. It was like a home from home. Taleen was always at hand and very tentative to our needs, she also brought mum a birthday card and chocolates when she found out it was her 80th. We would highly recommend this cottage and will be looking to book again in the near future. Thank you Taleen.
Summary: Absolutely beautiful cottage

Positive: We had a brilliant stay at the cottage and would definitely go again. The inside was much bigger than we expected and it was all done to an incredibly high standard. Well-equipped, e.g. large fridge and freezer, oven, washing machine, dryer, clothes airer, lightweight vacuum (handy for keeping kitchen floor sand-free!), soap, washing up liquid, sponge, a few dishwasher tablets and some laundry detergent (but recommend bringing your own as well depending on length of stay), plenty of hand and bath towels, plenty of crockery and cutlery, etc. There was a very informative 'welcome pack' and in the living room, there were plenty of Scarborough parking discs (I believe these give you 3 hours' free parking on certain roads but please check as we didn't try these out ourselves!). Easy parking at cottage. Owners very kindly let our child have use of an outdoor play area and said we were welcome to walk round the paddock. 2 minute walk to a lovely pub called The Oak Wheel where we had an excellent and very reasonably-priced dinner and the staff and locals were very friendly. Only takes 6 minutes to drive to the beach (North Bay) and Peasholm Park and plenty of nearby (pay-and-display) parking. On the route to and from the beach, there is a Tesco Express with a small car park. Would have been useful to have a hair dryer in the property, however, the owners were so approachable and accommodating that I am sure they would have been more than happy to help if I had asked, but it wasn't a problem as I took my own just in case :)

Positive: Very good location 2 pubs walking distance serves breakfast and evening meals. The cottage is beautiful very spacious ground level and we'll planned out giving privacy to all bedrooms. It was special to be second guests to stay here. Mark and Taleen are very welcoming we felt we came to Beaconsfield cottage as guests and left as friends. Looking forward to coming back it's a gem.
Negative: Nothing.well done to Mark and Taleen It's a lovely place.

Positive: This property is exceptionally clean, luxurious and has absolutely everything you could need. We loved how easy it was to gain access (we received a code for the key safe in advance) and then opening the door we found a completely newly renovated cottage with very comfy beds and quality bedding, three en suites, games, everything you need in the kitchen - all fantastic. When the owner welcomed us she was so friendly and helpful even giving us access to additional play equipment for our daughter. The cottage location is great. There are two good pubs in walking distance and then you can be at Scarborough in just a few minutes drive. We loved the North beach and the option to rent a few hours at the owners beach hut there. We also spotted a giant swimming complex nearby and a great park with pedalos as you enter Scarborough. We will be back to explore further and wouldn't stay anywhere else.
Summary: Perfect property in a great location!
