Summary: The cabin had an amazing view of the ocean and great beach access right from the yard. The home itself is older but priced accordingly.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this house is gorgeous. You can't beat the view! But this house has not been updated since the 1950s. It needs new furniture, carpets, and lighting (so dark in the kitchen and dining areas!). Chairs at dining table are falling apart (wheels fall off). Decks will need replacing very soon. Needs a propane BBQ. It wouldn't take much to update it and make it more new and modern.

Reviewer Comments: The Beachfront Charmer offers splendid ocean views from a comfortable, well-kept home-away-from home. The cabin was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked, and the furnishings homey. Our two-week stay featured beautiful days, both sunny and stormy. In the stormy weather the cottage is solid--during a couple of high wind days, we could see the trees bend and the high waves roll in to the shore, but inside the house, the only indication was an occasional bang from the chimney cap. The cabin is at the end of a quiet, narrow street with no traffic noise at all. The beach access was too tricky for us, but we drove a short distance to Tillamook Beach campground and found a way to clamber down there. We agreed that we would stay at the Charmer any time it's open for guests when we are planning a visit to Yachats.

Summary: Fantastic stay! This was our third visit to the Beachfront Charmer and I know we’ll be back again! It’s comfortable and has a location that can’t be beat. This year we were whale watching from the house and had such beautiful weather. It feels like our home away from home. Thank you for sharing with us!

Summary: The ocean views from the dining area and living room are spectacular and the easy beach access make it 5* in terms of location. The property has more of an older cabin feel and furnishings could use some updating but overall the location made for an excellent stay. We would definitely stay again.
