Summary: This is an older condo building sorely in need up upgrades. The air conditioning in the rooms worked great but the common areas struggled to cool as did the refreshment rooms located on some floors. So much so they had supplemental fans in each of the rooms to cool the machines so that they would work. Our first night was loud music being blasted from a balcony next to or right under ours. It took 2 phone calls to resolve it 15 minutes apart. The room 2 floors down started with the loud music the next night for 20-30 minutes. Cigarette and weed smoking out of control around us. Very frustrating if you stay somewhere because of claims that it is smoke free. The doors all slam hard and jar you out of your sleep. The parking garage is horribly small and a challenge to navigate. So much so they warn you about it when you check in. I can't image how many have damaged their cars entering/exiting. I was ready to leave by the 2nd night and ask for a full refund. Won't do this again!

Summary: Sheets weren’t clean. The word “resort” is a bit of a stretch. Hallway areas are very worn down and some areas smell bad. I was happy that the room was updated and didn’t look old. The beach view was the best part. No room service so be cautious of that as well as parking garage that’s not made for large trucks.

Summary: I thought our stay was nice, we were rarely in our room because we came for the Point Break Festival. But the room was in nice condition, i would book again with Beach Quarters.

Summary: All night there were people shouting and it started at 1 am. You could hear it in the bedroom loudly. It kept my daughter awake. The next issue was the shower. It was so close to the front door and very hard for an older person like me to get in it. We were only there for one night and I did not know that the beach front would be so full of barriers that would make it almost impossible to get to the ocean. We would have cancelled had we known. This was a quick get away for my daughter from Minnesota and me. I had not been to Va Beach in years so was so looking forward to it but sadly I was awfully disappointed.

Summary: I wanted to share some feedback about my check-in experience. While my stay overall has been enjoyable (rate 3), I was quite disappointed with the delay in getting into my room. After a day of travel, having to wait nearly two hours to check in—without receiving any notification that my room was ready—was frustrating and not ideal. I only received a response after I followed up by text, and ultimately had to return to the front desk myself to get a room assigned. This experience didn’t set the best tone for the start of my stay, and I hope future check-ins can be handled in a more timely and seamless manner for other guests.

Summary: Our stay at Beach Quarters Resort was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and we had everything we needed. The pools were cold but were still a nice amenities to use. The only downside is the ice machine on most floors were down and they kept having elevator issues. You have to park in their parking garage and it is very small. So be prepared when driving larger vehicles.
