Positive: Great kitchen with enough utensils and cookware to make a nice meal. Refrigerator had a freezer for those of us who enjoy ice in their drinks. Shower had plenty of hot water with great towels. Lovely beach 2 blocks away. Super TV, good reception and lots to choose from.

Negative: Beds were very soft. Bedrooms could use a luggage stand so as not to have to lay your luggage on the floor. Bath/shower needs a safety hand bar at waist height to assist in older ones.

Positive: We have enjoyed the use of the newly refurbished house. Overall it was well decorated and laid out. We particularly liked the porch for shoes and chair to sit in, and the area between the kitchen and the sitting room, which had a table- a handy space for all our suitcases. Kitchen equipment was adequate. Good to have the washing machine and dryer, although instructions for both would have been handy.

Negative: There are some areas that still need attention, like the garden, front and back, as well as the side of the house, Also the wiring to the TV needs boxing in- it looks very untidy, as does the cupboard with the ironing board and the area to access the back garden. As the house was recently re-done, it is a pity the bathroom sink did not have a mixer tap, specially as the hot water tap has a mind of its own and can be turned either way to open it. Lastly, the parking. It would be useful if guests are made aware that the parking is the free common parking square behind the house- to drive to it, pass the house, take 2nd right and then first right and the car park is in front of you. It can be accessed from the back door of the property, but that involves 2 separate set of stairs, which may be difficult, if guests have a lot of luggage. Things that could improve the experience for the guests are tissue boxes and wastepaper bins in both bedrooms and sitting room, and shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom. We have stayed in many self catering accommodations, and most now do provide this.
