Summary: The instructions provided by the host ahead of the stay were very clear and made our check-in process seamless. The property was incredibly clean and matched the listing. This property was also very conveniently located! It was maybe 10min from the airport and local highways were easily accessible. Communication from the host throughout our stay was great, and I'd highly recommend this property!

Summary: My family loved our stay here! FIrst let's address the neighborhood. Yes it seems a little sketchy, there are some low income housing options next door and we did have a few "neighbors" walk through the front yard on their way to the corner store, but everyone we encountered was friendly and we never felt unsafe. I walked by myself to the corner store several times late at night to grab snacks for our crew. Now moving on, the proximity to the beach is excellent, only a block and a half a way. The house is roomy, well stocked with supplies, large capacity washer and dryer, cute back deck and tree shaded yard. The included drinks, coffee pods, and snacks were a sweet touch. We found a great pizza option nearby at Regino's but they don't deliver. I would definitely stay here again!

Summary: My wife and I met up with our family for a US Navy promotion ceremony in Norfolk. The house was clean and comfortable and close to restaurants, shops and especially the beach. (2 block walk) The owner was very kind and stocked the house with snacks and a full pallet of water which came in handy. The house could sleep 9 (5 beds). Like an earlier reviewer commented, the house is in an area in transition. (Lovely beach houses next to some scruffy apartment buildings) But the neighborhood was safe and the house was a great base for our time in Norfolk. We will miss our twice daily walks on the beach.

Many nice little touches such as a welcome basket, lots of water bottles, beach umbrella and chairs, etc...Beyond the nearby beach, easy access to VA beach and Norfolk attractions. Great experience.

Summary: What a lovely beach home warmly decorated and furnished. We had a great girls weekend and wanted for nothing. The host provided coffee and snacks upon our arrival, a clean welcoming home. Summary: The first thing I noticed when I walked into this rental was how clean it was. It smelled clean, looked clean, and was clean. All the rooms are spacious and the house was stocked and equipped with everything we could imagine needing for the weekend. The neighborhood is quiet and the very short walk to the secluded and peaceful beach was even easier than expected. The drive to VA Beach was easy, but there are plenty of great restaurants within a mile or two of the house as well. I would definitely like to book this house again for our next trip to VA Beach/Norfolk.
