Positive: I liked Everything! Perfect setting off the main road in Downings, quiet, safe and secure and just steps from the beach, shops and restaurants. The host, is so lovely, friendly and welcoming and actually came round to make sure I had managed to access the apartment (although she had given excellent instructions on how to do so), and had everything I needed.... and I did! It is a delightful, cosy, and comfortable place to stay. I was on my own but it would be perfect for a couple too with an additional sofa for extras! It is spacious and has all the amenities required and I was surprised how spacious it felt. I also really appreciated the Welcome Package and note which, were a delightful surprise. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Beach Golf Getaway Apartment 1 and have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending it as an ideal place to stay for travellers to this area of Donegal. If I'm visiting this area again I would definitely want to stay here. My thanks to the hosts for making my stay so enjoyable... despite the wet weather! but, it was winter and it is Ireland!

Negative: There was absolutely nothing I didn't like about this property.

Positive: Apartment was perfect, everything you could need was there.

Negative: No lights in the courtyard. There was a sensor light, on our door but not working. Had to buy a torch. Big tv but no stations

Positive: Location to amenities and beach. Nice big parking space and large seated area in the back garden.

Negative: The outside of the house could do with painting and renovating. It looked a bit run down. A few plants at the front garden would be more inviting.

Positive: This is probably the most welcoming and well stocked place I have ever stayed. Dog beds and bowls for my dog, snacks in the cupboard, milk in the fridge.

Negative: No light for outside space at night time, just security light.

Positive: Wi-Fi was excellent which is hard to get in Downings. Cosy apartment, home away from home. Excellent location and great price for 7 days. We had a brilliant holiday and were sad to leave. The host Kyla was so helpful and friendly😃
