Summary: It was a great holiday house. It is a very nice and well equipped house. Everything is there. Nice area, 300 m to the sea, 6 km to Odder. In Saksild you find a well stuffed bakery, in Saksild Strand there is a nice restaurant called Bondehuset and roughly 4 km away there is the bio restaurant Himmel & Hav, which has also an second restaurant in the orangerie in the nice Ecology Garden in Odder.Very worthful information you will get on the internet site "kystlandet". The house is a nice place to go to all sightseeing places near by, as well to Aarhus. We can absolutely recommend this holiday house.

Summary: We are familiar with this beautiful part of Denmark. The summer house was just as I expected from the details and photographs on the web-site. A very well equipped house on a large corner plot with countryside to the rear and the beach just a short walk away. Lots of interesting places to visit and things to do in the area. A visit to the newly built museum at Moesgard is a must. We have been several times before when it was housed in the manor house but the new purpose built museum and wonderful displays are very impressive. Many thanks to the owner for replacing the broken kettle so quickly. Just one small point. We did bring our own bed linen but the 3 beds are king-size and all the duvets are single (just so that you bring the correct size bed linen).
