Positive: The accommodation is affordable and apartment is spacious. Shower is huge. It is in close proximity to Trou Aux Biches public beach. There is a pool. Restaurant on the premises has selected menu with few options but food taste good.

Negative: Where to start? Towels are changed only every 4 days. Bathroom is very warm and you need to bring your own toilet paper as the ones provided is very cheap. Kids are loud in the pool with access to pool bar. Pool bar is very expensive. Not enough cushions for chairs at the pool. Rain shower is leaking from the top. Very limited choice of restaurants in the area. Not enough cutlery provided. No tea spoons, no drying clothe, no bottle opener, 6 knives and 2 forks, 2 dinner plates and 1 side plate, etc. Taxis are expensive if you plan to go to Grande Baie, rather hire a car or take the local bus. No more beach activities as in the past. Restaurant and pool bar is separate from hotel so you cannot put anything on the room and have to pay immediately.

Summary: Stayed at Be Cosy twice. Don’t expect much from Mauritius then the hotel will not disappoint. Mauritius is a 5 star isla
