Positive: This is an amazing place! The view from the room is beautiful, and if you take the steps up to San Rocco it’s breathtaking. It’s very quiet, you can hear the distant waves crashing against the shore down below. The host Emilia was very kind and friendly and prepared a great vegan breakfast every morning. The room, the house and the yard were all lovely and I had everything I needed to relax after long days wandering on the mountain trails that start in San Rocco. Also, I saw fireflies on the steps just below the lodge!

Positive: The host was wonderful in providing information and recommending nearby walks, its a beautiful area. Also breakfast was arranged early due to our leaving for an early train.

Positive: Great retreat hotel in peaceful location up the mountain. Beautiful views and helpful staff who spoke good English. Drinks available and also evening meal if required.

Negative: The bed was very creaky.
