Bayview Boathouse & Hot Springs Therapeutic Spa was built in 1892 as a share farmers cottage.It was restored to 4 1/2**** accommodation approx 8 years ago and has under gone many upgrades.
We Have JUST installed LARGE AND LONG BOARD WALKS FOR WHEEL CHAiR ACCESS It is so easy now to access the cottage & BBQ.
It has 3 x bedrooms 2 queens 3 singles or a king a large kitchen, bath room and lounge which just has the greatest water views.A very large sun deck has just been put on the front with very comfy lounge chairs and deck recliners. "NO PETS ALLOWED"
The water views & sun sets from here are to die for..
You have a small golf course just in front of the cottage and a full size tennis court behind. rackets & balls provided. From the front deck you over look your own private jetty and boat ramp.
Bring your Boat the fishing can be great. lots of fish have been caught from the end of the jetty.
The cottage sits on 4 acreas of beautifull gardens & trees each area has a different supprise.
We Are VERY SORRY BUT NO PETS ALLOWED.
Bayview Boathouse 4 1/2 **** has one of the only natural hot springs in VIC coming out of the ground at 42DegC the springs give many of our guests total relaxation as many have told us therapudic qualities from aches and pains.
The Hot Natural spas are just behind the tennis court ,
There is twin beachs just in front of you very safe for kids
under supervision.
For shopping you are just 7Min from a major town (Bairnsdale) all supplies can be found here.
At Bayview Boathouse you are right in the middle of the whole district its only a few minutes drive to other attractions.
Come stay and enjoy some of mother natures paradise on the Great Gippsland lake system.

Summary: Bayview Boathouse was such a relaxing and beautiful place to stay. The view from the cottage and the front deck is gorgeous. It had everything we needed and the teenagers loved the tennis court!! Great spot for fishing, tennis and enjoying the gorgeous scenery. We will definitely be back in warmer weather to try out the kayaks on the lake.

Summary: Every now and again you get lucky enough to find a perfect property. With everything that is going on in the world, we were totally surprised when we found this oasis. Could not have been a more perfect short break for our family. If you like quite and quirky then this is definitely it. Take something to eat and drink, the rest is pure fun and relaxation. Summary: What an amazing little getaway! This property has everything you need! We were spoilt with choice; canoeing, tennis, thermal springs (under the stars) while enjoying homemade pizza out of the pizza oven - what more could you ask for. Location was perfect, just a short trip into town but far enough away to feel wonderfully secluded. Will definitely be returning! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Summary: We enjoyed a wonderful week-long getaway here making full use of the well-supplied kitchen facilities, newly renovated bathroom with rain-shower, hot-spring spa and pot-belly fireplace! Bedroom and bathroom linens were hotel quality, the staff were helpful when we had any questions and we came and went as we wished throughout day and night. Perfect for our needs! We happily recommend this as a great place to stay with easy access to Bairnsdale and the surrounding districts and will return again if we can.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay there in general. The view is so spectacular ! Plenty of activities around the house. But need some investment to be rated 4&1/2*** as advertised ; such as : Our group of 10 people stayed there for 3 nights, only 2 toilet paper rolls, no washing detergent, not any spared rubbish bag in the kitchen and kitchen is full of ants & little bugs. We had to wipe them every few hours .

Summary: A great find.. we were delighted with the cottage, the fabulous views and of course our private thermal springs. A lot of effort, love and time has been poured into the property and we were grateful to have experienced a little slice of paradise hidden not far from Bairnsdale. Hopefully we will be back soon.

Summary: What a beautiful setting for a holiday. Everything was perfect from the accommodation to the spa, hot spring tub, beautiful gardens and awesome views across the lake. I don't think anyone could find such a perfect place for a peaceful getaway anywhere in Australia for such a cheap price. I'll definitely be going back. The place is a credit to the owners!!
