Positive: We have been here many times before and we love the king bed room with a sea view, so all good.
Negative: However, the room was too hot, and no room AC was available, as the hotel would not put on the AC in April, so we were given a fan and a dehumidifier. Booking.com said the room had AC, but it didn’t, so it was a false statement!
Summary: A hot room in a hot city

Positive: I liked the location and the facilities.
Negative: I didn't like that I couldn't use my credit card in the hotel's restaurant even though the hotel accepted it. The room was too warm and the AC only gave warm air.

Positive: This had the softest and most comfortable bed I have ever experienced in over 20 years of travel to China. The breakfast was good and a lot of variety but was the exact same everyday which after a week was a bit same/same. Great location
Negative: We had trouble paying for a taxi once ( not uncommon in China) so I asked if the hotel could lend me 15RMB or $2 to pay and they could charge it to my room or I’d repay them after I had changed some money but they refused. This I thought was really poor and showed no regard to me having booked a total of 14 nights with them.
Summary: Great hotel with a very soft and comfortable bed but not Western friendly
