Positive: The location of the apartment was ideal, enabling us to explore Oban easily and the addition of a free parking space was a real bonus! The facilities were excellent with all our needs catered for. The small balcony was lovely to stand and watch life go by in the town. Communication with the host, Emma. Was timely and clear. We found the keybox easily and the directions to the apartment were detailed and accurate.

Negative: Only a couple of things - it was noisy in the mornings with deliveries to nearby hotels and restaurants, but the double glazing helped reduce any disturbance. Also the rain beds were not really comfortable for 2 tall adults.

Positive: the hosts were very clear on where to find the keys so we did not have to deal with the multiple lockboxes at the front door of the building. The location is premier - in front of the bus station, next to the train station and ferry terminal and shops/restaurants.

Negative: for US travelers, washing machines are different than what you are used to. They do smaller loads and take longer. They also do not dry clothes in the same way and you would need to google what the symbols on the machine mean, so don't bother with trying to dry things. Use the drying racks and anticipate it taking longer. This is just a different way of doing things, FYI.

Summary: The apartment is actually prettier than the images and very clean/modern.
