Positive: Excellent communication, ease of access, fully equipped kitchen includingnice touches like ice already made, as well as foil & saran wrap, stunning views, lovely bath with views and great water pressure, a/c throughout. BBQ grill, Bluetooth speaker, Nintendo Switch, even a stuffed raccoon plushie my 5yr old adored!

Negative: No dishwasher. A/C was off upon arrival, so the house was really hot inside until we figured out (and translated) how to work the A/C units. But both were minor inconveniences that were barely worth mentioning. I didn't like that I only booked us 2 nights....wish we could've stayed longer! My kids loved this place!

Positive: The location is not far from the center, is uphill and was a bit difficult to find the driveway, but it is a nice place with a nice view. The villa is clean, the bathroom has a beautiful view especially at the sunset. BBQ is allowed, rooms are cozy.

Negative: Weird thing in Japan overall to ask for full passport/resident card information (including documents photos) from foreign nationals (even from those residing in Japan). I uploaded mine first in advance as a primary contact and input all the companions info, but upon arrival the system wouldn't let us to obtain the keys unless ALL the guests uploaded their documents photos. The balcony at night had a lot of forest bugs. They were stuck around the whole wall, it was crazy.
