Summary: So this is a Mom and Pop Hotel, but since Route 66 in Kansas is only a short drive, we really don't know how long it has existed. It is clean and comfy, but it is a young couple with a young family running the place, which may be a little much to handle. They were trying to host a small breakfast bar from 6 to 9, but at 6:45 no one had set it up so we went across the street and grabbed coffee at McDonald's and went on our way. There is good news, though, we tend to look for truckers staying at a place to know what is safe and clean and plenty of truckers stayed there.

Summary: Staff was friendly and attentive. Room was large. 1) I have never used such thin towels 2) Some of the fixtures were not great - the faucet handle came off in my hand, bureau was missing a drawer tront, sheets were stained 3) i chose this hotel because it offered breakfast. I had a choice of corn flakes, a banana or coffee.

Summary: It’s an OK hotel for the money really know other places to stay for about 10 miles and this is a good deal if you need a quick overnight

Summary: The tv only had one channel. No hand soap or shampoo in the bathroom. It said there would be a hairdryer and there wasn’t. The was a pair of filthy house shoes left by the bed.

Summary: Room was a but rougher than the photo appeared. We had dogs with us, so was giving a smoker/pet friendly room. Clean, but definitely had a smokers smell. Very quiet area.

Summary: Baxter inn was a good “just for the night” hotel idk if i would stay here for longer. It had a strange smell. Almost like this place has been kept in a bottle type of smell. The sheets did have some stains on them. The shower was nice! I enjoyed the shower. Parking was easy and it was easy to find. The staff was very friendly
