Positive: perfectly located at the foot of volcano Batur. Staff was super friendly and we got a lot of information and tips. they've organised a guide for us who brought us to the top of mount batur. They organise one guide by group so even if you're just 2 people you get one guide only for the two of you. They have a natural hot spring pool which is refilled each morning - 40° hot water, so nice to relax in there. they don't rent scooters but can easily organise one for you. I would always come back :)

Negative: there is a fly problem in the morning and evening but that's nature - on the other hand you don't suffer from mosquitoes like in other Bali areas :D

Positive: Hot (40 degrees C) volcanic spring pool on the premises made this an exceptional stay. Meet up with the guide at the guesthouse at 3.30 am to climb Mount Batur for sunrise view was very convenient. We were particularly lucky to have a view above the clouds on our climb. Owners Made and Nyoman were very welcoming and helpful as was our mountain guide Adi ( Eddie) who provided a great deal of insight into local history and culture.

Negative: Nothing!

Summary: Excellent overall, great value, the mountain culture experience was a highlight of 3 weeks in Bali

Positive: Amazing hot spring pool and perfect guesthouse area - had the most relaxing days here. Food was also good and cheap! You can book the hiking tour on the day before and it is AMAZING, you start to walk directly from the guesthouse to the top.

Positive: Simply fantastic place. Very attentive personal, hotspring bath, good food, view. This town is not the most picturesque, but hotel is a jewel here!

Positive: The property was in a really good location to do the batur volcano hike. It was also a really pretty and fresh property with a natural hot spring in the garden!! The rooms were really clean and big with a nice good hot shower! The staff were really nice and the guides were excellent and fun :)

Negative: There was a very small menu but what was on the menu was good
