Positive: Most hospitable hosts - great guys. Traditional styled rooms. Excellent view over the balcony. The best location, right next to public parking - if you can get a spot in high season. Probably the best value stay if you want to stay the night in Misfah.
Negative: There was construction next door but I understand it's nearly done - the family is building another guesthouse. Dinner was adequate, not exceptional but we went during Ramadan and felt like we got leftovers - rather small portions.

Negative: Dining area was quite warm in the summer as expected but the view made up for it!

Positive: Very warm welcome from Ahmed, who met us at the property with Omani coffee and dates. Communication in advance of our arrival was excellent. Over dinner, which was included, Ahmed gave us helpful suggestions for short walks in the area, local cafés etc. He could also help arrange longer hikes with a guide if required.
