Positive: The cottage was clean and the right size for the family. The staff were very accommodating with an earlier check in. It was a nice touch to leave breakfast in the kitchen with milk and butter.

Negative: The single bed in the third bedroom was very small and the foam mattress was so uncomfortable that my son had to move to the fold out bed. Also the main sliding door was unable to be locked from the inside.

Negative: We didn't have any hot water but didn't realise it until late and didn't want to disturb the owners that late. I emailed them to let them know and havgen't heard from them which is very disappointing.

Summary: Nice cottage would have liked to stay a bit longer. Shame about the hot water situation

Positive: It's a great location, very peaceful, close to Geelong and great for families. The cafe and maze were an unexpected bonus.

Negative: We did have a couple of issues in our cottage, not anything the owners could have known, but they were quickly addressed, so we were very happy with that.

Summary: Overall, we had a very pleasant stay, I would definitely recommend it, maybe a few nights next time
