Baros Maldives is a small island close to Male’ city set in a turquoise lagoon with villas secluded in palm-shaded glades by a white sandy beach or perched over-water with private sun deck. Many of the elegant, sandstone and timber, palm-thatched villas have their own plunge pool and some have a spa bath too. Every villa is private, has an espresso machine and a wine and mini-bar; in-villa entertainment includes a flat-screen TV and iPod dock. Positive: Baros resort is a real little paradise on earth. The resort is beautiful, peaceful and offers a very relaxing vacation. A retreat in the truest sense of the word! All services are at the highest level - from cleanliness, food, drinks offered, to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Here is a special thanks to our butler Jinah, who made our stay at the resort even more beautiful and relaxing! The resort has a beautiful reef, where we met reef sharks and other really diverse fish every day. We were really sad when we had to go home.

Positive: Great house reef. Amazing breakfasts. Very nice ocean pool villa. Our personal host Rifaau, did his most to take care about us the whole stay.

Negative: This was our 9th time on Maldives, but first time we felt that restaurant staff in main Lime Restaurant was kind of judgmental and not always as nice as possible to the guests (which was a total surprise for us in the Maldives).
