Positive: Breakfast was ok and good selection. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Easy to get to and there’s supermarket across road and shops and food places short walk.

Negative: Hotel is showing signs of wear. Needs updating. Room the carpet was stained and the walls and ceilings had water staining. Shower head was broken. Dreadful thin pillows

Summary: Has potential to be a great hotel but needs money spending.

Negative: It's clear the hotel has seen better days and needs refurbishment. No bar or resturant is an issue. Also some very strange smells in corridors

Positive: Room was clean, they allowed dogs to stay, didn't have breakfast as dogs not allowed in breakfast area so can't comment on food.

Negative: Very shoddy looking from outside, water for shower was fiddly to keep constant heat

Positive: I did like a few things but there was a lot to not like. First room had mold and damp, was really smelling so changed rooms Second room was quite big, and big bathroom, stayed a couple of nights and left

Negative: There was nice staff and some rude ones as well, that swear and abuse guests, 2 come into the room, while i was in bed and they wanted to look in the bathroom & check the temp, they was very rude, swearng, and one was threatening in manner, they both left after about ten minutes and then another staff was banging on the door later, so you just can't get peace to sleep. Reception Staff was ok, they try hard and do a lot but i just didn't like being disturbed, when the rooms above was so noisy as well, you hear everything, footsteps, creaking floorboards, them going to the toilet and flushing like a tidal wave. The room was good but had issues, TV not ment channels, and signal was weak, when no one was in above it was quite quiet internally, a lot of traffic externally, that your cant do anything about. I did try Back at this hotel a few times but still got distubed and it was still noisy. It needs a lot of repairs, it used to be a branded chain but they let it go, it was really in a bad state outside and was getting paint jobs inside, it could be really nice again, if someone really did a good job and fixed everything, but it still needs a lot of work at that time. This was a few months ago, I've no idea if it's been updated, or if the next year will be noisy as they was building a Lidl next door, so building works might be very loud while that is going on I did like the hotel and would have booked many times, if not for being sworn at by staff while I'm in bed and the constant being disturbed trying to sleep. I don't think i will ever go to the west midlands again it's filled with crime, drug addicts everywhere, theft and really dangerous people in the streets from Walsall to Birmingham. But if i was ever that way i would look at this hotel and think about it and just hope it's better if i did ever try again.

Positive: The beds were large and comfortable neatly done. I had a great night sleep from a night out. The shower in the bathroom was amazing. The bathroom itself looked amazing with its modern touch to it. I do have to say looks can be deceiving as the outside of the hotel you wouldn't be able to tell that the inside is a gem.

Negative: There were spiders everywhere as well as lots of cobwebs above the headboards. I have a feae of spiders and there were three spiders in my room. One huge spider in the corridor. That is the only bad thing I would say about this hotel.
