Positive: The cottage was in a beautiful location with a close walk to the pub Biddy's, which provided fabulous food and a great atmosphere. We loved exploring the area around the cottage and it was also a close drive to the lovely Donegal town. The cottage itself was comfortable and perfect for our family of 6. It was clean and had everything that we needed and more, board games, milk, bread and provisions on our arrival as well as cleaning products, bathroom products and the children loved the space outside to play. The staff involved and owners of the cottage went above and beyond for us during our stay. We were just sorry we couldn't stay longer!

Positive: We really liked the cottage. very quaint and old Homely feel. The facilities were excellent. Two fire places with logs supplied. large smart TV and comfortable couch. 4 arm chairs around the central fire place, great place for a chat or sing song. beds were very comfortable. Location was nice and quiet in the middle of a forest and 5 min walk to the bar/restaurant (Biddy's). Melissa went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, basic food supplies, logs, water, hot water, cooking facilities. 5 min drive to the busy town of Donegal town. full of great bars and restaurants. 40 min drive to experience the wild Atlantic way. We would definitely rent this property again.

Negative: The outdoor patio needs upgrading, no table and paving slabs were loose in places. The kitchen was really only able to fit one person, but not much can be done about that, it's a small old cottage, but just to be aware. The road up to the cottage is small and very uneven, but again this kind of adds to the cottage feel. so not so much a dislike. Be aware of lots of steps inside the house from level changes, and the staircase would not suite an old person.

Positive: We loved the location. They thoughtfully provided Easter eggs. Early check-in was allowed upon request. The house was very warm and cozy.

Negative: The taps were a bit old, making it difficult to get a proper mix of hot and cold water for kids especially in cold weather. For drinkable water we had to rely on bottled water.
