Summary: This property was everything plus some. Spotless, great position, charming, comfortable, with extras. The beautiful bathroom goods were a surprise. The little extras were appreciated like the night light in the bathroom. Loved our stay and would definitely stay again.

Summary: A friend & I came to Bendigo for the Frida Kahlo exhibition at Bendigo Gallery. We enjoyed a lovely couple of days relaxing & walking around the town. The town was well geared up with a Freda theme & welcomed visitors wholeheartedly. Mark was very responsive to our requests; the cottage was easy to access, comfortable & a short walk to places to eat, shop & the beautiful gardens. We would happily stay at Barnard St cottage again.

Summary: Lovely old world ambience. Great location with walking distance of Centre of Bendigo City. Close to the beautiful Rosalind Park. Ideal. Lovely amenities and cooking facilities. Shower in spa bath a bit tricky for older folk. Likewise the self check in key safe: nigh impossible for arthritic fingers. A texted password rather than email would work much better for those on the road.
