It’s the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. Comfy beds, delicious food, and Rochelle is the most knowledgeable and gracious host! If you’re planning a trip to Yellowstone and want an experience that captures both the wild spirit of the park and the comforts of a luxury lodge, Bar N Ranch is the place to stay. We left, already planning our return.

Negative: We hated having to check out!

Positive: Beautiful ranch, close to the West entrance of Yellowstone Park. The log cabins were comfortable and cosy, and the facilities in the main lodge building and in the restaurant onsite were truly wonderful. A real taste of Montana, with huckleberry lemonade on arrival and bags of s’mores for the children to make around the fire-pit. We had a fantastic meal in the evening with local ales, excellent cocktails and locally sourced ingredients. We can’t wait to come back.

Negative: The pool was a little cold (although in a beautiful setting with a mountain backdrop) and the warmer hot tub was out of action.
