Negative: No local TV available, no safe in room. Fire alarm at 5 am, stayed at street for 1 hour seems something happened at kitchen.

Positive: This old classy building, formerly a bank, makes a perfect hotel and in spite of being as downtown as it gets, street noise is barely heard in the rooms, I think I've stayed at all floors since I travel to Haugesund with regular intervals for tattoo work. The staff is super nice, too bad they're only present at daytime.

Negative: No access for guests to a refridgerator or microwave is a very bad decision. A typical weekend guest needs at least the fridge to cool wine and/or food beverages. Hotel Banken should look into this matter prior to others.
