Positive: Breakfast was freshly made as I arrived at the restaurant. The setting was stunning with the restaurant nestled inside a bamboo forest, accessed by a road. There is a gentle walk up to the tree lined mountain. Take a compass, water and a hat as it is easy to become disorientated. The owner organised a short notice custom boat trip around the islands around Phang Nga. Easy to find with a SatNav and probably the most convenient place to take boat trips from. Great stop off enroute to Khao Sok. Within the grounds there is a coffee shop that has the best coffee and chocolate cake I have experienced and a viewing area over a stream to watch the varied wildlife.

Negative: I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

Positive: This resort is located in the most beautiful little village, where tourists are scarce. The owner is the most amazingly kind man that cooked us gorgeous Thai authentic dinners and chaperoned us for a whole day, showing us some rare sights and the beauty of the area. Anyone who wants to go a little off track, should definitely visit this resort. The coffee shop at the entrance makes superb coffee and lemonade. The bedrooms are big and the outside bathroom is quite charming with the outdoor shower.

Negative: The breakfast was not the best we had in our travels but everything else made up for it.

Summary: This place made our holiday, wonderful people and gorgeous scenery

Positive: The owner is very nice and always available when you need something. He is also a first-class cook. We have rarely eaten somewhere better in Thailand. The bungalow was very spacious, well furnished, very quiet, and had an inviting balcony. We enjoyed the nights with the sounds of nature. Our cats also had a good time in this place.

Positive: Small boutique hotel surrounded by lush vegetation. The bungalows are modern, comfortable, well furnished and beautifully clean. We loved our large balcony and swing! The outdoor bathroom was quite an experience! The owner was very kind and helpful. He even made breakfast early for us as we were going on an early tour. There are a lot of steps up to the bungalows and restaurant, which was fine for us but might not be suitable for everyone. All in all, a very peaceful stay, but the remote location means you really need your own transport. Also, be sure to pack insect repellant!
