Negative: The smoke, but that is beyond the control of Banff Gate.

Positive: A rustic, yet very clean cabin with a great deck and stunning view. We enjoyed our bbq dinners on the deck, playing board games, the pickleball court. It was a breath of fresh air staying here. No a/c initially scared the kids but the cool mountain air at night was magical.
Negative: The deck size was great but the railing was a bit loose and we did get quite a few splinters.
Summary: A great quiet spot to stay that is a close drive to many attractions.

Positive: I love the location.I love the cabins.Everything is wonderful and always clean.This is my 3rd time coming....
Negative: I don't like that.You can't have a fire past 830pm I wish it was toll 11pm at least and the pool and hot tub close to early

Positive: That was awesome. We spent an amazing 14 days. Quiet and scenic place. The accommodation was quiet and warm despite the fact that there was -28C outside. Even though there was a short hot-water supply issue that was resolved urgently. To be honest, I was really surprised when I had not made it from reception to the cottage when the facility manager arrived to sort out the problem. The inconvenience was sorted in two hours - commendable service. I would definitely recommend that place.
Negative: We stayed for two weeks. I would highly appreciate it if there were a provision for additional midstay cottage cleaning (for an additional charge, for example) or if that option could be proposed during the booking stage.
