Positive: Our family unit was of a good size with a nice bathroom. We had 2 very good meals in the restaurant, which has many menu options available. After dinner we enjoyed sitting in comfortable chairs on the water. Our room was not close to the parking area but an attendant with a cart toted and unloaded our heavy baggage. Air conditioning and hot water were both good.

Negative: The pool area had loud karaoke going when we arrived and had dinner. That "scene" is not what we needed. Even the restaurant had competing music, so quiet conversation could not happen.

Positive: It’s in really good location. Very close to Castillo San Felipe and on the edge of Rio Dulce. It has complimentary kayaking and you can swim if you want to. It has two big pools, one for kids and the other for adults. The restaurant has a nice view of the lake and it has great food and a variety of options for everyone. The room is clean and comfortable with air conditioning.

Positive: The grounds are nice, I saw a giant iguana and there are loads of agoutis (looks like a cat sized kangaroo squirrel with no tail) that eat from your hand in the restaurant. You can kayak for free, pool was empty a lot (possibly because the weather wasn't good). Very picturesque, looks better in photos than real life though

Negative: The room was awful. There wasn't any creatures (I have a big phobia) but it's the kind of room where you expect to see them. Room was dirty even after being cleaned. Aircon was super loud even with earplugs. No coffee making in room. Hotel doesn't speak any English (doesn't claim to). There's nothing to do in the area except the castle that takes all of 5 minutes

Positive: this placed is super nice. I did not visit their restaurant but I heard nothing but good things about this place. I would definitely stay here again,.
