Positive: Honestly this couldn't have been a better stay! Absolutely blew my expectations out of the water for a very last minute booking! The room was beautiful, comfy, shower was amazing! Everything was beautiful and clean and the staff were all incredible and so friendly!

Negative: Restaurant prices caught me off guard but probably fair given the location haha!

Summary: Absolutely amazing, beautiful location, wonderful people. This Highlands pulls it off again!

Positive: Welcoming and very clean and tidy. Upgraded to a sea view which was lovely. Only stayed one night as we moving on and had an early ferry to catch. We had a meal in the restaurant and I have to say that it was the best (and biggest) fish and chips I think I have ever had. Big shout out to the chef!!

Negative: All good - no issues whatsoever.

Summary: Lovely short stay in a nice hotel. Excellent fish and chips.

A few words about Balmacara Hotel near Eilean Donan Castle and Isle of Skye :) We were a guests at this hotel on the Christmas day 2025 and all we can say, this hotel is absolutely astonishing! Excellent rooms, excellent service, unreal great food and the best music in the restaurant, and more than that, there are two lads who will serve you like nobody else in this world - Singh and Gopal :) Thank you, lads, so much!
