Positive: The cottage was beautifully maintained, full of charm and character. It was immaculately clean, exceptionally well-equipped for a comfortable and relaxing stay, and located in a peaceful, picturesque area surrounded by nature. The garden was a wonderful place to unwind. Most importantly, the owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, which made me feel genuinely safe, cared for, and completely at home.

Negative: The Wi-Fi connection was occasionally weak in some parts of the house, which made working online a little challenging at times. A slightly more modern heating system would have added even more comfort during the cooler evenings.

Positive: Lovely traditional cottage with a modern twist. Really clean, comfy beds,both bedrooms have ensuite, well equipped kitchen, set in pretty gardens, off road parking. Easy check in/out, lovely hosts, amazing value for money. Proper home from home, we felt comfortable and secure.

Negative: There was nothing we could fault the cottage on at all......

Positive: A nice and well equipped house in an easy to get to location (if you have your own transport). Plenty of space, and a comfortable set up. Handy pub serving decent food at a reasonable price just down the road.

Negative: Pulling out of the property is tricky as the visibility of oncoming traffic is very poor - a mirror mounted across the road would be of great benefit.

Summary: Extremely enjoyable, a good base to explore the island.

Positive: Maj the host dropped in to meet us on the first day and provided a very nice welcome basket including fresh eggs, biscuits and wine! The kitchen is well equipped: electric cooker, washer with drying option(handy when it rains!), microwave and good sized fridge freezer. When the weather is good- which it was for most of our stay- Maj allowed us to use the rotary clothes dryer in the rear garden. Maj did allow us to sit in the garden, but just be aware that Maj and her family use it as well. The beds are very comfortable, overall a very enjoyable stay!

Negative: Lighting in the sitting room could have been better.

Positive: We felt really cared for - everything was in the cottage that we could have hoped for (and more - a really nice welcome package). Some lovely views at the back of the cottage (shame it was a little bit cold to enjoy them!).

Negative: The only minor request, some very simple directions as to the location of the cottage on the welcome email would have helped us when we arrived in the dark(we hadn't been able to connect to mobile internet at that point).

Summary: A very comfortable and friendly cottage which we both really enjoyed.
