Positive: The location was great. Easy walk with luggage to the train/bus station, easy walk to the pier and the gondola ride to the tip of the mountain lookout, on street parking (free overnight, paid during the day)(easy pay app). Access to the washing machine and dryer downstairs, Small but clean, well equipped, shared kitchen. Instructions to access the rooms, behind the hairdresser, using key box were easy to follow. Great value compared to other places we have stayed in Norway. Suited us really well as a base to get out and enjoy the area.

Negative: Best not to expect a view. While you can see a mountain looking to the side, out of the bedroom window, the window also looks on to the neighbouring building, with people coming and going, so you tend to keep the curtains closed. But the view down at the pier and the top of the gondola more than make up for that. It is a beautiful town.

Positive: Quiet location, and night time free on street parking (from 17:00 to 8:00). 24h key pick up.

Negative: The shared kitchen is poorly located - it is not a separate room, but rather in a very narrow hallway right next to an entry to one of the guest rooms. IT is fine for making a quick meal, but not can't really accommodate more than ne person cooking, which could be a problem since it is shared between all of the rooms. Also any odor produced can be smelled in the rooms. The rooms are quite small - good enough for a one to two night stay, but I definitely would not recommend for longer period than that.

Positive: Great location in Åndalsnes with all necessary facilities needed and in great condition. The host was very friendly and helpful. The shared kitchen is small but has everything you require to make decent meals. The shared fridge is divided into shelves for each apartment so you know what belongs you. The room was nice and clean as well as the bathroom.

Negative: While we were in the room someone was able to unlock our door and enter. They realised they were in the wrong apartment however it’s not ideal that other people staying in the apartment block can access your room.

Summary: Lovely place with everything you need and in an excellent location.
