Negative: No curtains on the windows so the room was very bright early in the morning. The air conditioning wasn't working so we had to leave windows open, this meant it was noisy.

Positive: The staff at reception were very helpful and breakfast options were good. The room was clean with a good view of the sea from the balcony. The hotel was directly opposite a very good beach and within walking distance of a few restaurants - and the ones we tried were excellent.

Negative: The restaurant options were limited because the hotel seemed to cater for large groups, such as a coach party and a large school group there while we were, rather than individuals or couples. The hotel is classed as 4 star but by British standards is probably 3 star. Although not there in the summer season we didn't expect the hotel bar to be shut at 9pm, so nowhere to get an evening drink or coffee.

Summary: A comfortable 3 star hotel in a great location.

Positive: Hotel is directly acrross from sandy beach and promenade. We stayed off-season, place deserted. Hotel plays music from 6am to 10pm which can be heard from room and all over immediate surrouding area. Receptionist pleasant. Check in from 4pm. Breakfast was basic, sweet pastries, coffee , bread , juices, cereal. Hotel was preparing for a birthday or wedding. Only two other guests at breakfast. Seating outside is nice, bar area outside too I imagine its busy during summer with Italian families escaping to the coast. We walked in the evening inland from the seafront, found a small local bar open, near the supermarket. Had a few beers and complimentary crisps, only two other locals drinking there. I recommendt the beach area for a vist (off-season if you desire peace and empty bars). I don't recommend the hotel unless the plumbing, sewer smell in rooms is rectified. I felt hotel was overpriced for the time of year we stayed. There are many hotels along the promenade.

Negative: Terrible smell of sewerage in room. Coming from bathroom. We tried blocking plugholes etc with towels but to no avail. Slept with balcony doors and window open all night. Soundproofing not great. Could hear neighbours t.v and conversations through the night. Balconies are not very private and could do with a repaint, very grim. Views lovely ( perhaps roons at front of hotel better choice for full views of sea?) Ours was to side of hotel, overlooking another hotel and some industrial air con fans etc.

Summary: Typical beach hotel facing seafront .Terrible smell of sewerage in room, emitting from bathroom.
