Positive: It was a incredible hotel, with a wonderful staff! They were also very kind to our dog. Some spas were unique, just as amazing as the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Thank you very much for everything!

Positive: We had a beautiful large suite with en-suite bathroom. This hotel has a fine warm outdoor pool and several special pools in its Spa area all of which were great to enjoy. In addition we booked skilfully performed massages which left us feeling relaxed and well. There is an elegant Shelleys Bar for drinks and snacks and an outdoor terrace for that purpose too. The Hotel restaurant provided excellent cuisine and a fine selection of local wines at reasonable cost. We were particularly pleased with the friendly and helpful staff who could all speak English in all parts of the Hotel. The Hotel is located a short drive between the historic cities of Pisa and Lucca which have many attractions. There was on site parking for our car.

Negative: Our only minor problem was the Air-Con system which was rather noisy and came on unexpectedly. It proved possible to have this turned off altogether in our room by asking Reception. As a suggestion, it would be helpful to explain this to guests in the welcome letter.

Summary: First class spa hotel with excellent facilities well located for Pisa and Lucca.

Positive: We enjoyed the spa and the thermal waters every day of our stay. The restaurant was delicious. The location was perfect

Negative: We ask for a tea kettle for our room. The staff look at us like we were crazy but said they would see what they could do. No tea kettle ever arrived. Interestingly, ever other place we stayed in Italy had tea kettles in the room.

Positive: The beds were comfortable and I slept well. Train station was a five minute walk with links to Lucca and Pisa Central. Breakfast was very nice, staff vey friendly, not too busy and nice and quiet location but close enough to local restaurants as well

Negative: Nothing not to like really. It was a lovely treat - with a nice spa and outside pool. My only suggestion - I would maybe review the restaurant menu - maybe more Italian options and change the music to something a little more classical which would set the scene as you have a beautiful outdoor dining space. That’s me being picky and it stopped us from eating in the restaurant. Apart from that we loved it. Would definitely return.
