Summary: Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Conveniently located on the East side of the park where we entered. Love the motel vibe where you can walk just steps to your car to unload…ground floor. When we headed out to Mt Rushmore the next day we then drove through the park drive to the West side and saw all the sites.

Summary: Black mold on bathroom wall next to mirror. Floor had multiple soft spots. Comforters were either dirty or stained. The room smelled moldy. The pool was closed. Part of the sidewall caved in. It still had water in it and it was gross stinky water. The service was okay but the hotel is in desperate need of repair/renovations.

Summary: A little dated but clean and comfortable. Should note the restaurant is only for breakfast and is closed on Sunday and Monday. No ice machine but they offered a free 3 lb bag of ice.

Summary: The staff was friendly and welcoming. Room was cool and clean. Bathroom needs updating, toilet was low and small. Breakfast was good for what was offered. Coffe should be free, especially with breakfast. Should offer something to drink with breakfast. Was a convenient location for staying in Badlands and other nearby sights.

Summary: Not muchbin the area to do or eat. Had to drive for awhile. Very basic room. Fly problem. Good for quick one night stay.

Summary: The proximity to BNP is unmatched unless you are staying in the park. Nothing fancy, but clean and great AC. Good shower, comfortable beds.

Summary: It was a pretty great experience overall. There was no microwave but they got us one upon request with no extra charge so that was nice. Breakfast wasnt the greatest but it was very very cheap compared to most things around. The staff was very nice. Our room was nice but when we girst got there the smell reminded me of a nursing home though once we ran the ac for awhile it lifted and was fine and the views were breathtaking

Summary: Tiny window AC that could barely keep up with heat from outside and was noisy. Bathroom shower still had hair in drain from prior guest. Convenient spot to explore eastern side of Badlands NP was redeeming quality.

Summary: Clean and quiet resort right outside of Badlands National Park! The room was very spacious and looked like it had some recent updates. The lady at the front desk was nice and had a great sense of humor. The cleaning staff were very nice and funny too! There was a roll-away bed in the room for us so we didn’t have to even ask for one, which we really appreciated. The grounds were very well taken care of. It had some tent sites, RV spaces, a few hotel rooms on the main building and another building with more rooms. The hiking trail was perfect for a walk through the prairie after dinner. We had some pancakes and biscuits and gravy for breakfast. The pancakes were very light and fluffy. I believe oatmeal was on the menu also. There was a little convenience store in the main building with some snacks and groceries too so we had plenty of options. It would be great to have scrambled eggs on the menu in the future but they did have sausage links for some protein. Breakfast wasn’t included but it was reasonable. It looked like there was a nice little dog park too, but we didn’t bring our pets so we didn’t use it. The only thing we were disappointed in was the pool being closed due to some damage. We just stayed in and watched a movie but it would have been perfect to have a swim in the heat. We will definitely be staying here again the future!
