Summary: Cute cottage that has everything you will need. We enjoyed walking around the Alton downtown area and this home is close by places to eat and explore. It is also a quick and easy drive into St. Louis to take in the sites there without having to stay in the city. The host is very accommodating and provides great communication if you need anything or have questions. We enjoyed our stay.

Summary: This house is super clean and location is great! Walkable distance to shopping and a ton of great bars and restaurants. You can see the river from the front of the house. The back yard is great and a peaceful place to eat or have morning coffee. Safe neighborhood.Host was super responsive with any questions we had. House has everything you could need for a long or short stay. Highly recommend and we hope to come back!

Summary: We rented this perfectly-sized charming cottage in historic Alton for my daughter and her friend to stay in while she attended orientation at the nearby dental school and looked for long term housing.The house was very comfortable, nicely furnished, beautiful decorated and conveniently located in a quiet, safe neighborhood in one of the most historic cities in Illinois.Susan was the perfect host! Communication was prompt, friendly and always positive. I will be recommending her house to friends and family.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay! Very charming little house. We went to a Cardinals game, and it was an easy drive to and from the stadium. Walking distance to good restaurants and shops. Neighborhood has lots of cool historic homes and brick sidewalks.
