Backyard play structure and a few minutes drive to the beach. Enjoy the comforts of home during your stay on the wonderful Monterey Peninsula. The Monterey Bay Aquarium, Point Lobos, Laguna Seca Raceway, Pebble Beach, and Carmel are just a few of the daytime activities to enjoy. Eat out at one of our area's great restaurants or stay in with a home-cooked meal. With comfortable seating for up to eight, family style dining is a breeze. Enjoy space and comfy beds.
Get a good night's rest in the king bed. 2 full baths make your mornings more convenient. Use the BBQ or large kitchen to make homemade meals. Enjoy kids’ bikes and an adult road bike to ride to the beach. The home has been recently renovated with hardwoods throughout, insulated windows, crown molding, and many other upgrades. On a clear day, a peek of the mountain ranges surrounding Steinbeck’s Salinas Valley can be viewed from the home.
For families with little ones, there are some beach toys, a play area in the garage, and a pack-n-play. Also, furniture and TV are secured and the backyard is fully fenced for safety.

The neighborhood is a quiet family location with several schools nearby. While it’s not in downtown Monterey, expect a safe place to enjoy all of the Monterey Bay peninsula, beaches, and surrounding bay towns. Just a few minutes to Marina State Beach, and a short drive along the bay to Monterey, Pacific Grove, and Carmel.
There is ample parking in the driveway and surrounding the corner lot home.
If you are coming from San Francisco or San Jose airports, it is easy to take a shuttle to Marina. The shuttle drop off is just a 4 minute Uber ride from the home. Save money and get your rental car upon arrival, or just use Uber, Lyft, or taxis to get around.

Summary: Me and my friends stay here during Monterey Carweek, and it’s been a great location not too far from places we have to go. It’s nice and cozy, quiet neighborhood but not too far from the freeway. Highly recommended if you are looking for a place to stay and chill for the night

Summary: My family (mother in law, spouse and 4 year old daughter) enjoyed our stay at Sean and Wendy’s home. It was perfect for our multigenerational family’s needs! It is the first place I found in my search and I am glad to say I made the right choice. The home is clean and has a beautiful backyard with a play area which our daughter enjoyed. The bedroom, dining and living rooms are very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with any tools you may need if you choose to cook. The location is perfect for touring Marina and the surrounding towns. Sean and Wendy were the perfect hosts, offering suggestions for places to visit or restaurants, checking in to make sure we were comfortable and responding promptly when we had questions. I recommend Sean and Wendy’s home for a five star stay in Marina!

Summary: Perfectly situated for all the things you want to do in the area, whether up the coast to Santa Cruz or down to the Monterey Bay Aquarium within a matter of minutes. Walking distance to great cafes, numerous biking trails and great small town friendliness. We would definitely come back to Marina. Quiet neighborhood so if you want to stay in and just read a book - this location has your fix.

Summary: This home was perfect for our family ~ VERY clean!! Had all the amenities that we needed. So close to the beach, central location to Carmel & Monterey. Loved the lights in the screened in back porch area and the fenced in yard was perfect for the kids. The property owners were very responsive and prompt in messaging us back and they had great recommendations for local dining. Quiet neighborhood. I ran twice around the neighborhood and felt very safe here. Thank you for a wonderful get away experience!!!

Summary: Overall, very pleasant experience. Listing is accurate, place felt very clean, and the hosts were extremely communicative. Easy to check in and out. The location is very convenient and an overall great getaway for couples and families. For any families with kids, there are a lot of great parts about this home (lots of kid toys, close to the beach) that make it ideal for families. Would definitely come again.
